Students

The Student Ministry here at Calvary Baptist Church is based on two Bible verses, Proverbs 27:17 and 1st Timothy 4:12. Our desire is to help develop the students in their relationship with Christ and to make it their own walk.  By making their relationship with Christ their own, we can accomplish the four tenants of this student ministry.  

There are four core tenants that we push for as a student ministry here at Calvary Baptist Church.  They are the following: 

UNITY (ECCLESIASTES 4:9-12)
We want everyone to feel as though they are a part of our family.  We strive to include everyone who walks in the door and to make them feel welcome.  In doing so, unity can be experienced and grown from within to better display the love that Christ has for all. 
EVANGELIZE (1ST PETER 3:15)
We strive to equip all the students to go out into their schools and families to share the gospel with everyone.   
DISCIPLES MAKING DISCIPLES (MATTHEW 28:18-20)
We strive to equip all students to help other students become disciples of Jesus Christ as well.  Through this, it will turn into a lifelong principle that they will be able to pass down from generation to generation.  
SENDING OUT (ACTS 1:8)
We strive to equip the students to be able to go to the ends of the earth and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
